French Football Cup
Since 2004, Groupe Caisse d’Epargne has been the
official partner of the French Cup, the
soccer oldest and most cherished competition. It is open to all
French clubs regardless of size, whether professional or amateur,
and allows each entrant a shot for glory. The Cup has a special
place in the hearts of the French public, and forms part of the
national sports heritage.
This is what encouraged the Caisse
d’Epargne, a major player in local and regional development, to
become involved with the competition. As the
official partner, the Caisse d’Epargne enjoys good visibility within
the stadiums and on the players’ jerseys.
Furthermore,
the Caisse d'Epargne recently teamed up with the French Football
Federation (FFF) to launch the Trophée Caisse
d'Epargne. This trophy rewards
the best performing amateur team during the
competition.
However, Groupe Caisse d’Epargne's involvement
in football is not restricted to the French Cup. At a regional
level, it is also committed to supporting a number of clubs from
France's top two divisions, including Marseille, Lille and
Châteauroux.
