Passeurs de mémoire (or "The memory
go-betweens")
at Crédit Foncier de France, 2005
You will discover in these pages twelve autobiographical
sketches devoted to the professional lives of current or
former employees of Crédit Foncier de France and
Entenial. At the time of the merger between these two
financial institutions in September 2004, an autobiography
competition was launched among current and former employees
having at least ten years professional experience in either
of the two entities forming the new Group. A large number of
entries were received, six of which were awarded a prize and
twelve were published in this collection. These different
points of view of the same collective history (related with
feeling or with a certain sense of humour) all undeniably
reveal the attachment indeed, the passion for their
company felt by these employees and budding writers.
"Towns
& cities in crisis?"
a
collection of essays edited by Yannick Marek, Creaphis,
2005
The proceedings of a symposium devoted
to the policies pursued by local authorities in response to
problems in urban environments (from the late 18th to the late
20th century): this book is particularly relevant to the
French savings banks in view of their active involvement in
the changing face of urban society. The collection highlights
five themes of topical interest for the Group: urban unrest
and the regularity
of its occurrence; responses to urban unrest; poverty, insecurity and
welfare policies; the experience of urban social policies and town
planning. Supported by the Caisse dEpargne de Haute Normandie, this
academic publication is recommended reading for everyone involved in the actions
taken by the Group in the general public
interest. |
